Hertfordshire's Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) – health and social care needs of our local population

Find the available JSNA topics for the themes Starting Well (0-5 years) and Developing Well (6-25 years)

Hertfordshire’s Young People’s Health & Wellbeing Survey (YPHWS) gathers self-reported information annually from those aged 11-19 in Hertfordshire. The survey includes questions about home life, wellbeing, diet, physical activity, smoking, alcohol use, drug use, sexual health, mental health, bullying, and safety. You can search the results by topics and districts, and the results from surveys since 2021 are available.

Herts Insight - Population 
This is the quickest way to find data about the basic makeup of Hertfordshire’s population. It includes data from the latest national census, current population estimates and future population projections. Herts Insight is also run by Hertfordshire County Council.
